Title: Cocoa Paint
Categories: Cookie Frosting
Yield: 1 Servings

2cSifted powdered sugar
1tsVanilla
2tbMilk; more if necessary
1tbUnsweetened cocoa powder
1tbWarm water

In a small mixing bowl stir together powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk (2 to 3 tablespoons) to make of glazing consistency. Spread tops of baked chocolate or sugar cookies with some of the glaze. Allow icing to dry.

Meanwhile, combine cocoa powder and warm water. With a small paintbrush, paint design atop each cookie. Makes enough for 36 to 40 cookies.

Prefer not to paint free-hand? To make an easy pattern for cocoa painting, use a holiday cookie cutter that's smaller than the glazed cookies. Pres the cutter lightly into the dried glaze to make an indentation. Then paint over this line.
